NEHC Administrator Moving
Hi All Cindy is moving the Weeks of August 16 - September 3, 2021. I will still be receiving emails and will have access to the computer after August 26, 2021. I just may be a little slower at getting back to you. Update regarding Covid-19
To our members: This past year has brought many challenges to our community and our way of showing. I applaud everyone who ran shows with all the restrictions and their exhibitors who followed the covid rules. As we go forward, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. USEF and NEHC are lifting the mask requirement for all those fully vaccinated. However, please realize that all equine events still must follow state and local guidelines, as well as the CDC, regarding Covid 19. USEF and NEHC...
Hunt Seat Medal – Adult and Junior
Shows offering the Adult and Junior Hunt Seat Medal. The Medal class for the 2021 show season can run with 3 entries instead of the 4 entries stated in the rule book. Class can be combined if needed. One of each medal at a 1 day show, Two of each medal at a multi-day show. Any questions please email the office. cindy@nehc.info

Happy New Year 2021
2020 was a year that we all will all remember. As we do not want to dwell on our past year New England Horsemen’s Council looks forward to beginning a new year competing at our favorite shows. The goal is to get back to some sort of normal while maintaining the health of our families, friends and communities. Hunt Seat Medal Finals Update

The goal is to get back to some kind of normal without jeopardizing the health of our families, friends, and communities. USHJA Feed Aid is Now Live
The USHJA Feed Aid initiative aims to provide aid in purchasing feed for lesson horses as short-term relief for the businesses in our hunter/jumper community who provide lessons to non-boarders and may be suffering financially due to the impact of COVID-19.

Saddle Seat/Western Seat/ Hunt Seat Pleasure Medal Finals
Due to the amount of pleasure shows that have been cancelled and the number of entries we get in these medals there will be no qualifying necessary for the 2020 NEHC Medal Finals in these divisions. We have exhibitors from other states as far as PA involved in these medals and we do not feel there will be enough shows to get these exhibitors qualified. As June 1st approaches, the gradual opening phases of our states are about to begin. The goal is to get back to some kind of normal without jeopardizing the health of our families, friends, and communities.
Getting back to “some kind of normal”
The suspension of horse shows affiliated by NEHC is due to expire on May 31st. NEHC is advising all how organizers to still follow their state and local requirements for mass gatherings, sports, and out of state travel.

Mystic Valley show on May 22, 2022 has a line up change: We would also like to start the annex ring at 9am.
The start times for rings for May 22 would be as follows:
Main Hunter 8am
Jumper 8:30am

Cape Cod Hunter has cancelled these shows May 7 and June 18, 2022
South East Hunter has cancelled the June 4, 2022 show date

Northampton Hunter/Jumper is cancelled for August 11-14
Vail Farm in North Salem NY had cancelled the NEHC Medals for their show on April 30, 2022 show. Show is still running.
