Update regarding Covid-19

May 28, 2021

To our members:

This past year has brought many challenges to our community and our way of showing. I applaud everyone who ran shows with all the restrictions and their exhibitors who followed the covid rules.

As we go forward, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. USEF and NEHC are lifting the mask requirement for all those fully vaccinated. However, please realize that all equine events still must follow state and local guidelines, as well as the CDC, regarding Covid 19.

USEF and NEHC will still require the waivers signed by all in attendance at the shows as well as the management covid release. Show management will have the final say on regulations at their show. As many of our shows are held either at private facilities or state and local fairgrounds, all participates must abide by management rules regarding masks, spectators, and any other covid rule.

As we return to a normal way of life, I look forward to a successful 2021 show year. I wish you all well and good luck in the show ring.

Sincerely,
Diane Monks McDonald
NEHC President
