Act Fast! USHJA HQC Stable Challenge Ends July 15!

The USHJA invites equestrians of all ages to put their horsemanship knowledge to the ultimate test in the 2020 USHJA Horsemanship Quiz Stable Challenge.

The 30-day online FREE quiz challenge is open to juniors and amateurs and brings barns together as teams to test their horsemanship knowledge for a chance to win great prizes.

Trainers, coaches and riding instructors must be a current USHJA member at any level above Outreach. Use code Affiliate2020 for 50% off the USHJA Associate Membership.


USHJA Teams Up with Prospeqs App to Bring Ride n’ Win Challenge to Equine Enthusiasts

The USHJA is pleased to team up with Prospeqs, a ride tracking app, to launch the USHJA Ride n’ Win Challenge, a reward system for dedicated riders looking to join the community and share their commitment to horsemanship.

Open to all equestrian enthusiasts, riders earn points for documenting and sharing their riding journey through the Prospeqs app, and the top point-earners will win prizes from USHJA sponsors including an Essex Show shirt, FITS breeches, grooming products from Straight Arrow, USHJA logo wear, a CWD halter or Parlanti paddock boots.

Second Round of USHJA Feed Aid Open

The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce the opening of the second round for applications to the USHJA Feed Aid initiative, which has provided relief to more than 170 farms and 2,168 lesson horses that would have not been able to afford feed due to financial hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applications for aid are open to USHJA members at the Associate level or above through July 13 and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Feed vouchers will be made available to qualifying applicants as quickly as possible. USHJA will provide approved applicants up to $500 in aid, and members still in need of aid can apply more than once.

USHJA Affiliate Championships Returning to Vegas!

USHJA Affiliates are invited to send their best 2′ and 2’6″ horse-and-rider combinations to compete in the Affiliate Championships. Affiliates establish their own criteria for selecting Championship competitors, and all current USHJA Affiliates are invited to send members. Affiliate competitors do not have to be USHJA members. Full specifications and qualifying criteria can be found here.

The Championships are subject to change or cancellation. Please check the website for the most up to date information about National Championships.

The USHJA is pleased to announce a new partnership with Horse & Country TV. With the expanded effort, Horse & Country TV has created a new branded USHJA channel environment, USHJA TV . Subscribers will be able to access USHJA TV both online and through Horse & Country TV’s proprietary apps, as well as through third-party services such as Roku, Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire.

In addition, to live streams and sports highlights packages, USHJA TV will feature hunter/jumper content across Horse & Country TV’s core genres of Training & Learning, Entertainment and Documentary. Major events that will be live-streamed through the service include:
